[中銀人壽圖入城野定向挑戰賽2024完滿結束]
 
中銀人壽圖入城野定向挑戰賽2024於十一月二十四日順利舉行！大會邀請到民政及青年事務局副局長梁宏正先生，BBS, JP 以及青年專員陳瑞緯先生，JP，作為6小時及3小時賽事起步禮的主禮嘉賓。獎勵計劃理事會主席郭永亮先生，JP、立法會議員吳永嘉先生，BBS, JP、獎勵計劃理事會副主席彭穎生先生，MH及中銀人壽品牌及企業傳訊總監焦揚女士亦一同參與起步儀式。眾嘉賓以及AYP 理事會成員一一為參加者送上打氣說話，同時活動大使 - 巴黎奧運單人雙槳香港代表趙顯臻先生亦和參加者分享自己的運動習慣。
 
比賽後，參加者陸續回到賽事中心休息並享受簡單餐點。現場設置多個攤位，為參加者帶來不同新奇又有趣的資訊，另有贊助商提供多款實用贈品。看到參加者面上的笑容，我們知道數個月來的努力都是值得的。AYP各同事都很期待再次和大家見面。
 
BOC Life Wild in the City Orienteering Challenge 2024 was successfully held on 24 November! We invited Mr. Clarence Leung Wang Ching, BBS, JP, Under Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, and Mr. Eric Chan Sui Wai, JP, Commissioner for Youth, as the Guest of Honour for the 6-hour and 3-hour kick-off ceremony respectively. Mr. Andy Kwok Wing Leung, JP, Chairman of Award Council, The Hon Jimmy Ng Wing Ka, BBS, JP, Legislative Council member, Mr. Victor Pang Wing Seng, MH, Vice-Chairman of Award Council, along with Ms. Vivienne Chiu Yeung, Chief Brand and Communications Officer of BOC Life, also participated in the Kick-off ceremony. Guests and Award Council members took turns to encourage participants, while event ambassador - Mr. Chiu Hin Chun, Hong Kong representative for single sculls at the Paris Olympics, shared his stories with participants!
 
After the race, participants gradually returned to the event centre to rest and enjoy simple meals. Various booths were set up on-site to provide participants with different innovative and fun information, along with many giveaways to take home! Seeing everybody had such a great time, we look forward to see you next year.

[賽馬會划越無限計劃：運動領袖訓練營]
 
由香港賽馬會慈善信託基金捐助，AYP主辦的「划越無限：運動領袖訓練營」在十一月二日於香港青年獎勵計劃賽馬會愛丁堡公爵訓練營順利舉行！今期訓練營有超過100位香港專業進修學校（港專）的學生接受活動帶領訓練、團隊合作活動、及虛擬運動體驗。除此之外，AYP很開心邀請到香港青年獎勵計劃理事會委員陳嘉慧女士與學生分享運動領導者不斷變化的角色和對運動產業前景的看法。
 
從活動當中，看到不同年級的同學們個個拼勁十足，互相幫助及積極討論，完成活動挑戰，相信同學們都深深體會到團隊精神的重要性。期望他們可以運用這次經驗，日後在社區推動運動行業的發展！
 
Supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the AYP-organised “Row For Future: Sports Leadership Training Camp” was successfully held on 2 November at the Hong Kong Award for Young People Jockey Club Duke of Edinburgh Training Camp.
 
This camp included over 100 students from the Hong Kong College of Technology (HKCT) who participated in leadership training, team-building activities, and virtual sports experiences. We were delighted to have Ms. Moraine Chan Ka Wai, Award Council member, shared insights on the evolving role of sports leadership and future industry prospects with the students. Students from different grades showed great enthusiasm, helping each other and actively collaborating on the challenges. This experience undoubtedly highlighted the importance of team spirit. We hope they can apply this experience to promote the development of the sports industry in their communities in the future!
