| Organised by AYP and funded by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, the Youth Development Commission, and The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the "Career Tailor" youth life planning scheme successfully conducted the “Greater Bay Area Study and Career Exchange Tour” from 17 to 18 December. During the tour, students and teachers from Buddhist Ho Nam Kam College embarked on a two day, one night journey to Huadu, Guangzhou, to gain deeper insights into innovation and educational development in the Greater Bay Area. On the first day, participants visited Dongfeng Nissan Automobile Company to tour the production line and witness the highly efficient process of modern automotive manufacturing. Students not only gained a deeper understanding of industrial operations and innovation, but were also inspired to reflect on their future study and career directions. The second day focused on green technology and education exploration in the Greater Bay Area. The group visited Green Wave River Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. to learn about automated suspended cultivation and intelligent irrigation systems, exploring the development of sustainable agriculture. They then visited Guangdong Peizheng College, where campus tours and interactive exchanges offered a closer look at higher education trends, academic programmes, and student life in the region. This short yet fulfilling journey broadened students’ horizons and encouraged them to explore and plan their futures with confidence. We extend our sincere thanks to all collaborating parties for their support in helping young people discover and embrace the diverse opportunities within the Greater Bay Area. |
